Biday Obhishap (বিদায় অভিশাপ ) - Rabindranath Tagore

Story has it that Kach, son of the Brihaspati - the Guru of the Gods, was sent to Shukracharya, Guru of the Daityas, to learn the Mrita-sanjeevani vidya or simply Sanjeevani vidya which is the knowledge to revive the dead. Devyani, daughter of Shukracharya, falls in love with Kach.

At the end of the course, when Kach asks Devyani for bidding farewell to him, Devyani requests him to recollect the memories of their together-hood during his stay at Sukracharya's place for his education. The conversation, in one side, depicts a love stricken Devyani trying to remind Kach of the the love he shared with her and to persuade him to stay back while on the other hand Kach has promised the Gods that he will learn the Sanjeevani vidya and take it back to the Heaven.
